Alfred shrugged and rolled his eyes at Dante.
Dante took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. One of these days, his rage might actually kill him. Everyone seemed to be conspiring against him.
As the needle pierced Kelvin's skin, he winced and sucked in a sharp breath, frowning.
Dante noticed immediately. "What's wrong? Are you feeling any discomfort?"
He was itching to interfere with Perseus' treatment plan, hoping to delay or sabotage it. Ideally, Perseus would somehow botch the procedure entirely, killing Kelvin.
It would be humiliating for him to carry that plaque everywhere.
