Two days. It had only been two days, but it seemed like an eternity.
Amara sat in the center of her grandfather and brother at the dinning table, absentmindedly picking at her food.
After her grandfather had gotten checked up, prescribed some BP drugs and instructed to take things easy, the man had gone about, making calls and inviting acquaintances to the party, claiming it was his granddaughter’s engagement party.
Amara didn’t have the heart or strength to say anything about it.
