The scent of cat food wafted into Eddie's nose, and disbelief flickered in Fennec's gaze. The human was eating cat food! Was he out of his mind? Of course, Eddie wasn't. Thinking it might just be his imagination, he grabbed another piece of cat food and popped it into his mouth with an audible crunch. Fennec's eyes widened further, and her fox face displayed an almost human-like look of astonishment. Now it was Eddie's turn to be surprised at the fox's vivid expression. "You really are the Fox Deity!" he solemnly declared. He sprang into action and set up his phone to position his camera. Then, he began recording. "Everyone! You wouldn't believe what I stumbled upon today on my way home! "Ta-da! Look! It's the Fox Deity! This must be a sign from the animal deity I've been worshipping!" Fennec was utterly lost.
