The weeks passed by in a blur as Madison healed both physically and emotionally. Michael remained by her side, his presence a source of strength and comfort. But as the time to return to her company approached, Madison felt a sense of uncertainty swirling inside her. She was still fragile, still recovering from the attack and the loss of her baby. "Are you sure you're ready to go back, Madison?" Michael asked as they sat on the balcony of her penthouse, the cityscape spread out before them. Madison took a deep breath, looking out at the skyline. Michael reached out, his hand gently resting on Madison's. "I'll be right there with you, Madison. Every step of the way. I promise." Madison felt a wave of gratitude wash over her, her heart swelling with love for this man who had stood by her through so much. "Thank you, Michael," she whispered, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "I don't know what I would do without you." They sat in silence for a moment, their fingers intertwined as
