Elodia groaned as she slowly rose from her slumber.
"My head. Damn, it's pounding" she whispered to herself, rubbing her temples.
She looked at her fingers and saw remnants of dried blood.
Immediately, she touched her head feeling for any injuries but thankfully nothing.
"It seems like my injury has healed" she whispered, confused by her power.
She looked around, trying to remember where she was and how she even got there.
The last thing she remembered was training with Damien before a crash. The rest was nothing but a blur in her head.
But now she was in an unfamiliar room, made with stone walls and a small window high above her unfamiliar to the houses of Damien's pack.
She was lying on the floor, her body sprayed.
As she sat up, a wave of dizziness washed over her. She closed her eyes, waiting for it to pass.
When she opened them again, she could see better now. Straining her ears to hear something, anything.
But no sound came. Not even the sound of blowing air.
