CHAPTER 98 The Crucible of Cosmic Passion

When Lily and Alexander became one and embraced the unity of the universe as the light of the world, they were to face new trials they never expected as the world and its people needed love embodied in them. The extent of their duty oppressed them though they dyed themselves in the joy that their love would never end. Their travels took them to an alien pocket of the multiverse and there was something even above their infinite level of comprehension. Before them lay a vast, writhing maelstrom of pure feeling and unbridled lust – the Cauldron of Cosmic Desire. The Crucible was burning with the heat that threatened to overwhelm even their godlike nature. Here, the currents of the hearts’ of many entities from across the multiverse could be felt – love merged with rage, happiness coupled with sorrow, and hope opposing despair. When they arrived at the Crucible, the Dwarves were all puzzled to realize that they had been having the impulse of reverting into the individuals all along.
