Chapter 14

Hunter said he loved her, but Estrella could not feel it anymore. As the song played, she softly sang along, letting the familiar lyrics flow from her lips. When she reached the final line about "our future", she chuckled softly. "Hunter, we don't have a future anymore," she whispered. Estrella was not surprised that Hunter had found her. This place held significance. It was where he had first confessed his feelings and later proposed to her. He asked, "Honey, what are you doing here? Aren't you cold? You just got better. Why would you run off so far on your own?" Then, Hunter pulled his coat tighter around her, shielding her from the wind. Estrella looked at him calmly, signing, "I just wanted to see this place again." Seeing her expression so composed, Hunter finally let out a breath of relief. He gently patted her back, comforting her like he always did. He said, "If you wanted to come, why didn't you tell me? No matter when or where, if you ever need me, I'll always be here
