Angel’s POV
It might be childish to do so, but I wanted badly to swear and curse and reduced him to nothing.
He didn’t even raise his eyebrows at my words.
“Yes, I’m a jerk. Angel, don’t be so mad over a jerk. It’s a waste of time,” he said calmly as he uncuffed me.
I hated the calm and confident look on his face, so I jumped up to give him a punch on his face.
However, he dodged sideways as if he could predict my movement.
“You’re slower than usual. Is it because of your headache?” He asked with a faint smile on his face.
I took it as a provocation.
I started another round of attacks. I used my gift and kicked him on his knee.
This time he failed to dodge and lost his balance. However, before I could get the chance to laugh at him, he fell to me.
The next second, he had his body on top of me.
Our eyes met. He seemed a little stunned at what was happening.
“Get up!” I scolded him as loudly as I could.
