Chapter 43

　　Erika’s POV 　　I looked up and spotted Emma at first sight. Her face darkened the instant she saw me. 　　Yes, I came here deliberately late. Emma just saw the hope of surviving today and I dashed her hope immediately. 　　I walked towards her slowly with my chin high. 　　As I walked closer, she gritted her teeth and her hands were shaking. She must also know that her life would end today. 　　She had betrayed the pack and she still challenged me for the Luna position. That was simply stupid. 　　Derek stood up and announced that the challenge began. When he sat down, he blinked at me with a smile on his face. 　　I held back a smile and then stared at Emma. I wouldn’t have suffered so much if not for her. Now it was her turn to suffer. I would let her die in great despair and misery. 　　I didn’t summon any weapons because I wanted to torture her with my bare hands. I charged toward her and punched her directly in the face.
