Hannah POV Elwood pulled me closer. “Shh.” “Now I don’t want you to leave here. Remain in this place until I comes back.” The screams continued until a group of men came forward to meet Elwood. “What are you doing here involving yourself with woman?” One of the men teased him. “She is my mate.” Elwood corrected him. Another man who had a scar across his face with a more serious expression stepped forward. “Son.” The man called and Elwood bowed his head to him. “Father.” He bowed his head again. “Take this now. We don’t have much time.” Elwood collected the bow and arrow from his father. He turned around to look at me once more before leaving. “Father are you not going to meet my mate?” Elwood asked. “Who?” The man turned around to look at me and he laughed. “She?” He scoffed before walking away.
