75 The Rival
Finally, the day to fight came. As expected the prince jumped out of the crowd and people cheered. They did so loudly but they were worried he was going to lose but before that day, he had assured them that he was going to prove to them he wasn’t a coward. Thanks to his mother, the queen, he had been trained by nothing but the best on the land. The trainer who had been asked to be discreet had even been paid to keep his mouth shut little did the queen know, the confidence that the prince was showing was raising eyebrows and people were starting to think they were supporting him to marry the enemy.
According to the people, the prince was supposed to be taught a lesson and that meant that they were supposed to let him fight alone and lose and then finally leave the plains to attempt to go against his people. It was the only way he would learn to respect people.
