Chapter 82: Don't You Believe Me?
All of a sudden, Vivian's eyes popped wide open.
It was obviously doctored.
Vivian quickly snatched Ethan's phone.
"Cut the crap," she rolled her eyes at Ethan, "Are you gonna deal with this crowd or not? If you don't, I will."
At her words, Ethan stopped for a moment.
But soon, he was smirking, "Oh, so you're done playing dumb?"
Raising an eyebrow, Vivian shot back with a grin, "Oh, you like me better when I'm playing dumb?"
Caught by surprise, Ethan was momentarily lost for words. But as she strolled past him, he grabbed her hand, giving it a tender squeeze.
After a few seconds, she pulled her hand away and crouched down in front of Sutton, who was still acting like he was the wronged party on the ground.
"Have we met before?" she asked.
Sutton was thrown off. Wasn't she supposed to be the idiot? He couldn't figure out why she was on the beach that day, dressed in the clothes he had bought for the girl he thought was his wife.
