After all, it was Richard who had struck her and insulted her, not Ethan. "So, you've heard everything then," she said, resignation creeping into her voice. "Yes, I had a talk with Austin. He told me everything. I apologize on behalf of my father," Ethan replied earnestly. "Why should you apologize to your father?" Vivian retorted. "Because I don't want his actions to affect our relationship. It's my fault for not telling him I was alive. If he had known, he wouldn't have acted that way."
