Dylan lounged back in his chair at the police station, hands behind his head, legs sprawled across the desk, exuding a nonchalant air. On the other side of the room, Christina was dozing off, clearly worn out.
"Hey, Officer Cheng, can I get a soft drink? With lots of ice. I'm really thirsty," Dylan requested lazily, directing his question to the officer who had been questioning them earlier.
"Why don't we just get this big baby a plush bed and a gourmet meal too? Poor thing must be exhausted," Christina taunted from her corner, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Dylan clenched his teeth in annoyance. "Don't listen to the troublemaker over there. She’s just good at breaking things."
"And you, my dear Mr. Qiu, excel at being petty," Christina shot back, her tone sharp and unyielding.
Unable to restrain himself any longer, Dylan jumped up from his seat, shouting, "Yah! If it wasn't for you, we wouldn’t be stuck in this mess right now!"
Christina, not one to back down, quickly stood up
