He cut the skin of his palm with a sharp edge. My lips parted when the cut began to heal quickly. When he removed the blade away, one drop of crimson fell in the glass sliding across his palm. I gulped. He grabbed it and outstretched his hand. Deep concern was embedded from my friends' faces. I wasn't certain, either.
My hands were shaking when I advanced my hand. I grasped it and stared down at the liquid. His blood couldn't mix with water. It was swirling in the water. I gagged.
"Drink it. Imagine, it's pomegranate juice." Silver said, offering her best smile.
"It's safe," I saw fading glistening around her palm as Elizabeth waved her hand over the glass. Her magic was beyond my imagination.
I nodded and held my breath before gulping a nasty thing through my throat. I was expecting myself to vomit. But it felt just like water, "Why did you ask me to drink...." I couldn't say 'your blood'.
