ALEXIS’S POV
After the tiresome ride of three hours, with me sitting in a stiff position because I was afraid that my body will accidentally touch Blake’s, I finally exited the bus and stretched my limbs.
“Hey, what are you guys talking about?” I asked, walking towards Shane and Audrey.
“Don’t bother with them, Alexis. They are on with their cheesy talk of how they are each other’s soulmates. It was a bad decision sitting with them. I should’ve sat with you instead.” Matt groaned, making Audrey smile sheepishly as she hid her face in Shane’s chest, who chuckled at her in return.
Looking at them like this, even I believe that they are each other’s soulmates.
Honestly, it’s funny how finding my mate was the only reason I was bearing my pack’s torture, and my mate was the one to cheat me in the worst way. Now that I know that I don’t have a chance at love, here I am, living my life in a much peaceful manner than earlier.
