The sound of the knock on the door pulls alpha Damien's attention from the window, and he tilts his head to look at the door. It has been over a month since he and Cassie started seeing each other, and it has been the best days of his life. He no longer feels so lonely with her around him, and it's quite fun when they hang out together. However, his health has been getting worse with each day that passes by, although he tries to hide it from Cassie so she won't be worried about him. The investigation is still ongoing, but sadly, nothing has been found yet. "Come in," he finally ushers whoever is at the door in, and the door opens shortly, and Astrid walks in. Seeing Astrid, he sighs softly, turning his attention away. He has suddenly lost interest in every other woman ever since he started seeing Cassie. It feels as though he's doing the wrong thing, and he feels irritated by the presence and the scent of other women around him, so he slowly stopped seeing them. "Why are you here?" He
