CHAPTER 34

Damian angrily returned his guests and his face was serious when he confronted Monique's parents. He did not speak and continued the meal, and so did the three guests. After they ate, he brewed coffee for the two adults. "Can we talk in private?" He turned to Monique and asked. "Of course," Monique agreed and immediately told her parents that she and Damian would talk first. Damian took the woman to the garden because it was quiet there and other people couldn't hear them. "When did you find out you were pregnant? And how? " He immediately asked Monique. "Damian, why do you ask like that? You know we always do that thing, "Monique replied. "I know, and I also know that I always wear a condom, Monique. Is that really mine? " Damian admitted that his question was below the belt but he didn't really believe that he was the one who got Monique pregnant. He was always careful when it comes to using protection, and he only failed once, with Ella! Instead of answering, Monique
