CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY NINE: DISTANCE
Jonathan sat at his desk, the weight of the decision heavy on his shoulders. It had been weeks since Anna's passing, and the pain of her absence still lingered in every corner of their home. The once vibrant space now felt empty and desolate, each room echoing with the haunting absence of her presence.
As he gazed out the window, Jonathan's thoughts turned to Oliver – his precious son, the light of his life. Since Anna's death, Jonathan had watched as Oliver struggled to come to terms with the loss of his mother, his once bright spirit dimmed by the weight of his grief.
