CHAPTER 69 MEMORY OF ILLUSION
Minerva’s Pov
I found myself back in Silverline during one state summit I had attended with my dad while I was little.
We stood before the Summit building as my father graciously welcomed our guest.
Wanting to believe everything was real, I noticed many things were off.
First, I was unnaturally short and had to look up to see my father's face.
The environment looked hazy, like a half-remembered dream, looking distorted by what seemed like a thin, slight mist distorting my vision.
As I stood there, my little hand clasped with my dad's large hand, I saw the current governor of Aperture approach us with a young Dominic.
Dominic smiled at me as his dad and mine shook hands, then Dominic walked towards me, grabbing both my hands, and suddenly, as if he remembered something, he fiddled through his little pocket and brought out a little paper craft.
After examining it for a moment, he handed it over to me.
