CHAPTER 33 DOUBLE ILLUSIONS

Minerva Pov I hustled after him, barely able to keep up with his long strides as we walked back to the cave. We had both agreed to go in our human forms in case there was any need to call for reinforcement. The cold air struck me, a reminder that I was wearing nothing but a man's shirt; thankfully, it went past mid-thigh. Dominic's apparent disinterest in my costume also helped keep me from overthinking that I had nothing underneath. He hadn't once leered at me or made any funny moves, and I found that endearing enough to allow it when he suddenly grabbed my hand and began leading at a much slower pace. "We'd have been so much faster in our other form," he grumbled. "Stop being so dramatic." I chided softly. He suddenly picked me up without breaking a stride and leapt over a muddy pool I would have had to step into to cross over. "I bet you had no difficulties leaping over that while in your wolf form." He continued while setting me down and retaking my hand. He was still s
