The misunderstanding and Caleb's attitude made my heart twist painfully. I approached him and said, "I need to check you. You need to work with me."
He grabbed my wrist tightly and glared at me. "Where's the dean? I want another doctor."
"You're not getting one." I looked at him. "Mr. Goldman Senior ordered this, and the dean can't do anything. You're my patient, so you're not switching doctors."
As I spoke, I broke free of his grasp and continued checking him. He refused to spare me another glance throughout the process.
When I was about to leave, he suddenly grabbed me and pulled me to him. He was so strong that I lost my balance and fell into his arms, pinning him to the bed.
"You're still injured, Caleb!" I cried.
He had to be insane. He'd almost lost his life from his injuries! How could he still be so strong?
