Chapter 5 You Understand Men Well
"What does that have anything to do with you? We've already broken up, so stop bothering me!" Olivia's voice was indifferent.
She tightly gripped her clothes until her palms hurt, completely oblivious to the pain.
A pang of discomfort hit Oliver's heart. "Olivia, how could you say that? How could you degrade yourself like this?"
"Let go of me."
Olivia pushed him forcefully, but she couldn't move him an inch.
"Olivia, please don't do this. It'll hurt me." Oliver's voice was hoarse.
He released Olivia, his face filled with pain, and stepped back.
Olivia scoffed, "I said it has nothing to do with you, please leave."
Helpless, Oliver had to release his grip on Olivia's hand.
Suddenly, a tall man appeared before her. He grabbed her arm and forcibly pushed her into the car.
Olivia saw Alex's stern face and couldn't help but feel afraid.
"Alex..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Alex slammed the car door shut.
"Get out."
Upon hearing this, Milo Dunn, the assistant, quickly opened the car door and got out.
Now, there were only two people left in the car.
"I've warned you already, yet you dare to seduce Oliver again..."
Alex's slender fingers pinched her chin, his eyes filled with a hint of coldness.
"I... I didn't seduce him..."
Olivia hurriedly explained.
Alex forcefully tore her blouse, and leaned in closer, appearing terrifying like a beast.
She suddenly found it difficult to breathe.
"No."
Olivia looked up at Alex.
"Oliver is my ex-boyfriend!"
Olivia said helplessly.
Her voice was somewhat calm.
Upon hearing this, Alex's face grew even sourer, his tone displeased. "Why didn't you say so earlier?"
Olivia said, "He cheated on me. I didn’t want to talk about that."
Inside the car, the ambiguous atmosphere gradually intensified.
Olivia begged for mercy, but Alex remained unmoved.
Half an hour later, he finally got up, released her, and sat beside her while lighting a cigarette.
"I didn't know about your relationship with Oliver."
Alex sat in the back seat, opened the window, and continued smoking.
Olivia curled up and hugged her knees. Her clothes had been torn to shreds, indicating how intense the struggle had been.
"Mr. Tres..."
Before Olivia could finish her sentence, Alex threw a stack of banknotes at her, scattering them throughout the car.
Olivia was stunned, her eyes reddened as she looked at Alex.
"Is this enough?" Alex's voice was icy. "No more part-time jobs in the future."
Alex approached, pinching her flushed cheek and asking in a low voice, "Do you think I can’t afford to support you?”
Hearing this, Olivia bit her lip and said, "I want to save some money."
Only money could make Olivia feel secure. She didn't want her mother to stop taking her medication because of a lack of money. She didn't want to be unable to protect those around her.
"How did he cheat on you?" Alex asked in a cold voice.
"I don't want to talk about it," Olivia directly refused to answer Alex's question.
Alex looked at her and asked, "Why don't you want to talk about it?"
Sensing that Alex's mood was not right, she had no choice but to say, "I dated Oliver for a year, and then he got together with Rosa Hall."
Alex seemed to know that name. He remembered Oliver mentioning her before.
"What makes Rosa better than you?" he asked.
Olivia pondered for a moment before replying, "She probably understands romance and men better than I do."
Alex wrapped his large hand around her slender waist. He looked at her sternly as he whispered in her ear, "You also understand men very well, don't you?"
Hearing this, Olivia's face turned crimson, blushing all the way to the roots of her ears.
She said, "Mr. Tres..."
Alex leaned in and showered her with kisses, his lips parting hers as he explored.
Olivia's body went limp, unable to resist and hold back her soft moans.
Suddenly, Alex asked, "Have you kissed Oliver like this too?"
"No," Olivia replied.
Upon hearing this, Alex chuckled, "It seems he didn't get anything from you."
Olivia bit her lip and remained silent.
Milo returned later to drive the car to the Empire Hotel. Alex draped his coat over her and carried her out of the car.
Inside the hotel room, Olivia lay on the bed and soon passed out.
Alex touched her forehead, then he suddenly saw blood between her legs.
Frowning, he quickly instructed the assistant to call a private doctor.
The doctor arrived promptly and examined Olivia.
"Mr. Tres, this lady is just exhausted from intense physical activity. She'll be fine with some rest. I'll prescribe some ointment for you to rub on her private area." The doctor respectfully concluded while standing nervously beside Alex.
Alex narrowed his eyes slightly and asked coldly, "Anything else to be aware of?"
The doctor said, "No intercourse for a week, and she needs a lot of rest."
Alex said, "Understood."
After the doctor left, Alex looked at the sleeping Olivia’s face with a mysterious expression.
The next day, when Olivia woke up, she found that there was no one in the room, and the warm sunlight was shining in.
There were some clean clothes on the bed.
Olivia got up, feeling a bit sore, and went to take a shower.
She thought that Alex should have left.
At that moment, her phone rang.
"Olivia, where are you? Today is the day for our family to meet Mr. Oliver’s family. You need to come home.”
Toby's voice came from the phone, with a tone that brooked no refusal.
Olivia pinched her phone and said indifferently, "Why should I go back?"
She thought, ‘Rosa stole my boyfriend, and I need to congratulate her?’
She knew that Toby was always biased, but she didn't expect him to be biased to this extent.
Toby's displeased voice came through, "Olivia, what's wrong with you? You need to come to congratulate your sister for finding the right man to spend the rest of her life with.”
"My sister? That's ridiculous. My mom only gave birth to me, since when do I have a sister? Besides, Rosa stole my boyfriend. Technically, she is his side bitch. I would be deeply ashamed if I had a sister like her”.
Olivia mocked Rosa without reservation.
Toby sighed, "They truly love each other. Can't you just bless them?"
Olivia fell silent.
She hung up the phone angrily. Her body trembled slightly and she was almost unable to stand steady.

After Olivia tidied herself up, she left the hotel.
She took a taxi back to the Hall family.
As soon as Olivia entered, Rosa hugged Oliver's arm and greeted her. "Olivia, I forgot to tell you, Oliver slept in my room last night."
Olivia glanced lightly at the two of them and walked away without a word.
Seeing her expression, Rosa couldn't help but frown.
She originally wanted to see Olivia's sad expression, but she didn't expect to be ignored by her.
She felt like her effort had gone to waste.
In the living room, Nancy and Toby were preparing to welcome the bigwig of the Adams family.
When Nancy saw Olivia, she frowned unhappily, "Why did you just arrive? You need to behave well later. The person in charge of the Adams family, Mr. Tres, will come to our house later."
