Perhaps it was due to Mark's exceptional skills, but Giselle felt minimal discomfort, the pain barely noticeable.
“The report will be ready first thing tomorrow morning; I’ll have it delivered to your villa immediately,” Mark said as he walked away.
Henry clicked his tongue in annoyance. “That's too slow.”
Slow? It was already on an expedited timeline because of his investment; otherwise, it would have taken another three days.
Mark grumbled to himself but maintained a gentlemanly smile. “This is the expedited timeline.”
After escorting them to the lobby, Mark couldn't resist another glance at Giselle.
Leaning towards Henry, he whispered, “Just a brotherly heads-up, she seems out of sorts. Try not to be too hard on her.”
Henry gave him a sharp look, then turned to watch Giselle one more time.
“Mind your own business,” he pointedly told Mark, his voice icy.
