Chapter Twenty-Four - Mason
She was anxious. Everything about it turned me upside down. My wolf shoved ten different scenarios into my mind at every moment.
I could hardly look at her without imagining what she looked like underneath that towel. I knew she’d looked like a goddess because there was no one else made for me.
She swallowed heavily, her hand tightening around the edge of her towel before she let it go. My brain malfunctioned at the sight of her.
She lifted her chin in a defiant way that set my blood on fire. Unable to stop myself, I let my gaze shift over every inch of her. Her pale skin was flawless with an occasional freckle.
The dips and curves of her body looked effortlessly beautiful. It would take God to make something so gorgeous.
She cleared her throat. “Word, Mason. Word.”
I blinked, realizing what she was saying to me. She was giving me the word that I asked for. Stepping forward, I backed her into the bathroom wall and inhaled her scent. She watched me with curious eyes as I inhaled a
