Chapter 890
Abigail glanced at James once more before she closed the door. He behaved like a perfect gentleman, yet he said such crude things.
Ten minutes later, Abigail had packed her bags—two suitcases and two backpacks.
James immediately reached out and grabbed all of her luggage.
Abigail was left with nothing to carry. "James, let me take a backpack and pull a suitcase," she suggested.
"That's not necessary. You can call for the elevator," James replied, snatching the suitcase from her hands. His actions were rough, yet somehow still gentlemanly.
It was a strange contrast. His actions and words seemed to contradict each other.
Abigail watched with a smile as James insisted on carrying all the luggage. She quickly ran ahead to press the elevator button, and James was already there by the time it arrived.
Once downstairs, he told her to check out of the hotel while he took the bags to the car.
