Chapter 821
Oliver gently held Grace's chin, turning her face toward him as she ate.
Her cheeks bulged with food as she chewed, and his large hand made her lips form an involuntary pout.
Oliver said, "Once you swallow the meat, you can't eat anymore. Overeating isn't good for you."
Grace frowned, clearly unhappy with the restriction. Her gaze drifted to the two remaining pork ribs in her bowl, longing for them despite knowing they were off-limits.
Even Jennifer seemed to agree she'd had enough. As dinner ended, she instructed the maid to clear the table promptly.
In the evening, Oliver took Grace for a walk on the lawn. After the two had cooled down and reconciled, they began discussing the conflict from a few days ago.
"I admit, punishing you with standing was a bit much," Oliver said. He had made a bad choice although he could have other ways to handle things.
