Noticing Grace's lips flushed red from the spice, Oliver picked up her juice and held it to her lips.
She took a sip and smiled before turning back to say to Hazel, "Take this time to think about where you want to have dinner."
"Got it. I'll let you know once I decide," Hazel replied.
Grace ended the call, then set the juice down and removed the straw before tipping the cup back as she drank directly from it. She finished her drink in a few gulps. After that, she slid her fork onto Oliver's plate.
"Darling, I want some of your spicy chicken wings," she said.
"It's really spicy," Oliver warned.
"Just one bite," Grace said with a playful pout. "I'll just take one bite to satisfy my craving."
Unable to resist her, Oliver handed her the plate. True to her word, Grace took just one bite—albeit an enormous one, her mouth stretching wide to take the bite.
