The main lights in the room were turned off, leaving only the bedside lamp.
Grace had been watching him for an hour on the couch. He lifted his eyes to meet her crystal-clear eyes. "Do I look good?"
She shook her head. "No." He was just a little handsome.
"What do you think of me then?"
She rested her right hand on her left, and her arm was leaning on the couch's edge. She placed her chin on the back of her right hand and asked curiously, "Why don't you go sleep in the study?"
"Why would I sleep in the study when I have a bedroom?"
"But I'm in the bedroom. It wouldn't be proper if we share a room."
"We're already legally married. What more 'proper' do you want?"

It seemed like they shouldn't have been "proper" from the beginning.
"We do have our agreements."
"Are there any agreements that say I can't sleep in my own room?"
