Chapter 25: The interest Brielle's POV The sun peeps through my separating eyelids and I gently peel open my eyes. Jace is draped across me. It feels good to have him next to me. When I try to move, I realize how much my muscles ache. We made love until almost four this morning, and I'm worn out. Jace must be tired because he hasn't stirred. I really wish I could stay here wrapped up in him, but I do need to go to work. It's his presentation day. I need to check on all the appointments they will be shipping down for my office. Check his schedule with Mr. Flavio and wrap everything up before flying home. As I try to stretch, I feel him tighten his hold and bite my nipple through the silk of my gown. "Don't get up," he grumbles. "You're warm and soft." "Jace, we have to go to work. You need to meet Mr. Flavio around Nine; we need to leave for Milan."
