Chapter 24

　　I stood aside and listened to them talking about the things I wasn't familiar with. 　　My mind began to wander. 　　Then, I heard someone call my name. 　　I came back to my senses and found that they were all looking at me. 　　"Your necklace is pretty. Where did you buy it?" a girl asked. 　　I looked down at my necklace and was about to reply. Alicia said with disdain, "It was probably a gift from some boy." She smiled maliciously and suddenly raised her voice. "Do you know how popular Cora is in school? I'm so envious." 　　I raised my head and looked at Alicia in disbelief. I didn't understand why she suddenly said so. 　　But Alicia ignored me. "I often saw her with a boy at school. Bentley, do you know him?" She turned to the girl and asked. 　　The girl nodded. "That Bentley. He's cute." 　　Alicia suddenly turned to me and said in an exaggerated tone, "Was it a gift from Bentley?" 　　Hearing what she said, the others all looked at me. 　　It came to me of a sudden that I didn't know what to say
