LEON'S POV
I sat down in front of the computer, my fingers hovering over the keys. My mind flashed back to Irene, her pale face on the video screen, her voice shaky but still strong as she urged me to expose the truth.
“I’ll protect you, Irene,” I muttered under my breath, my hands finally moving with purpose.
I quickly pulled up all the files and documents I’d been holding on to for months—evidence of Miles’ wrongdoings, the corruption in his Pack, the shady deals with rogue elements. Every dirty secret. I’d been gathering them for a while, knowing I might need them someday, but I never imagined it would be under these circumstances.
My phone buzzed. Carlyle's name flashed across the screen.
“Are you sure about this, Leon?” he asked with concern. “Once you do this, there’s no going back.”
