With a slack expression, Vladmir managed a noncommittal nod. The mysterious door inside the castle intrigued him, but his lack of enthusiasm suggested otherwise.
Sasha, clearly agitated, pressed further, "Aren’t you curious?"
Danil strolled into the dining hall, his demeanor as blank as his greeting. "Good morning," he said, offering little more than a mechanical politeness.
"Morning," Sasha muttered tersely.
Vladmir, barely masking his boredom, waved a greeting.
