Chapter 33 The Love Game

"Good morning, Amelia." Ryan greeted as he walked into the classroom and sat beside me.
I arched my eyebrows at him, wondering what was wrong with him. Didn't he ignore me all through yesterday?
"Morning, Amelia." He repeated.
I shrugged the thought off and decided to take my own advice. He had a right to be in a mood and I didn't have to judge him for it.
I nodded at him. "Good morning, Ryan."
He smiled at me, inching closer to where I was. "Is it too much to ask you to smile at me?"
I scoffed. I was starting to like moody Ryan more than playful or flirty one? Moody Ryan didn't force me to be in a conversation with him.
His face fell and he moved away. I frowned and I wondered what was wrong with him.
"You know I am not naturally a moody person." He said, straight into my eyes.
I gasped, wincing as my hand flew to my mouth. I hadn't realized I had said that out loud. It wasn't a surprise that he looked hurt.
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
