I chuckled again as I passed the food into my mouth, chewing absent-mindedly as I wallowed in my thoughts.
I wondered how many times it was that I had chuckled to myself in the last ten minutes. Was it fifteen or eighteen? I had no idea. I hadn't even been counting in the first place.
"You seem to be in an excited mood this morning." Dad said.
I looked up to stare at him and smiled. "Yes, dad."
"Care to tell me what it is that makes you so happy? With how busy I am and how stuffy everything is at the office, I think that I might be in the mood for some good news."
I couldn't tell him that I was happy because a classmate that I hated wasn't coming to school anymore. He would give me a lecture and make me feel like crap.
"It's because I'm happy to be here eating breakfast with you, dad." I lied. "It's been long that we had breakfast that I can't keep my joy to myself."
