“I’m not sure we should tell Dad,” I said, pressing my fingertips against my temple.
Levi looked over his coffee mug and leaned back against his seat at the kitchen table. “Why? He’ll be pissed if we don’t tell him what’s going on.”
I shrugged. “Frankly, I don’t care if he’ll be mad. After everything he’s done without consulting us? Look where it got us. Ava tossed and turned all last night.
She’s worried sick about Charlotte.”
Duke reached over my plate and grabbed another slice of bacon. “She has every right to be scared. I’ve heard some crazy things about twins. They can sense when the other one is in danger. It’s wild.”
I slid my palm over my face. “After breakfast, I want two guards on the Capellos. We need to see who they are meeting with if they go anywhere out of the ordinary, and I also want two guards checking abandoned buildings…”
“Fletcher,” Levi said, giving me a look. “We can’t have people searching every warehouse in Houston.”
“Can’t we?” I asked, sipping my coffe
