Chapter Thirty-Four - Fletcher
I spent the night watching Ava twirl around in her dress. To say she did look like a princess was an understatement.
The dress was fitting since her story mimicked Cinderella’s.
When I finally pried her out of the dress for dinner, we spent the night chatting and talking about her inviting her sister.
It wasn’t that I didn’t want Charlotte to come but I prayed she didn’t bring any drama with her. What Ava and I had didn’t compare to that contract we’d signed.
It’d grown into something else. Something I wasn’t sure existed inside of me but it did. Having her sister lurking in the background with a chip on her shoulder didn't sound promising, but if Ava thought she'd come around, then I would trust her.
The next morning, I went around to several different real estate agents looking for a potential gallery. After she showed me the portrait of myself, I’d been floored. I knew she was talented but this was beyond what I imagined. Seeing how she saw me melted the inside of me. The lines
