"I am sorry," Amelia said, finally breaking the silence in the room.
Cassandra, with an air of exaggerated annoyance, rolled her eyes dramatically before diverting her gaze, crossing her arms in a facade of anger. "Cassandra," Amelia called gently, batting her eyebrow in the most innocent way.
"I am not speaking to you, Amelia," Cassandra retorted sharply, her tone a mix of hurt and frustration. "You messed up. You turned your back on us and just went with him after everything. Just like that."
