The group stood outside the aged structure, the tension in the air was palpable. Claire took charge, her voice measured yet urgent.
"Alright, here's what we've got. We need to get in without alerting the hunters," she declared, her gaze sweeping across her companions for reassurance.
Cassandra, her eyes scanning the vicinity, inquired, "How many are we dealing with?"
Claire's mind raced back to her earlier surveillance. "Three, patrolling the perimeter. Armed with guns, some with arrows. We have to be cautious," she cautioned, her tone laced with concern.
"What about the entry points?"
"The building has a side entrance. It might be less guarded, but traps are a possibility," Claire explained.
Samantha, thoughtful, queried, "Any distractions we can create to divert their attention?"
Claire's mind wandered to the dense forest nearby. "The forest could provide cover. We might stir up some noise there to draw them away," she suggested.
