"Come on. It will be fun," Amelia urged, a playful glint in her eyes as she tried to coax him into participating in her scheme.
Lucius shook his head in mild disbelief, a small frown forming on his usually composed features. "I don't want to do it," he stated plainly, the reluctance evident in his voice.
Amelia tilted her head, a teasing smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "You sound like a child," she teased, a playful edge in her tone.
"No, I don't," Lucius retorted, though a ghost of a smile danced across his face at her banter.
Amelia threw her head back in laughter, her melodic laughter filling the room. "Are you going to stomp your feet now? Come on, it will be fun," she cajoled, attempting to chip away at his facade of stoicism.
"I don't do fun, Amelia," Lucius replied with a hint of finality, his voice resolute.
