CHAPTER 151: Trapped Without A Choice
SOPHIA'S POV
I turned on the bed, a yawn escaping my lips, and sighed as I fluttered my eyes open just in time to see my phone light up with a message.
"Good morning." It was a straightforward message, and I didn’t need to ask who it was from or check the sender. I groaned into the pillow, rolling off the bed to put on my slippers.
I didn’t like him. The only person in my heart was Jared, yet this man just didn’t seem to get the memo.
I walked over to my desk, pulled out a cigarette box, and placed one between my lips. I searched for the lighter, impatience starting to gnaw at me. Looking under the desk, I couldn’t find it—not even in the cupboards.
I threw the pillow off the bed, but it wasn’t there either. Pulling the cigarette from my lips and throwing it on the floor in anger, I stomped on it, my teeth gritting against each other.
Ah, what do I have to do to get rid of this mess?
