CHAPTER 148: A Friend Of The Famous Artiste
Sabina’s POV
I sat in the car, staring out the window while Theodore drove.
All I needed was something to get my mind off things. The memories I recalled were making everything more complicated.
It made me remember Mom and how close we used to be. I was just a kid then, but we cherished each other a lot. The things I remembered, the new memories I just had—they were strange. Someone killing Mom? Absurd, I thought.
Theodore's voice jolted me out of my trance. "We’re here." I nodded and got out of the car, walking into the mall with Theodore trailing behind me.
We made our way inside, Theodore watching as I picked out dresses and did some shopping. I wasn’t really in the mood; I just needed to kill time.
I knew Theodore had something to say, but he was hesitant, waiting for the right moment.
"You can say whatever it is," I said. He started almost immediately.
"Mother wants you back," he said, making me stop, my hand frozen on a dress as I processed what he just said.
