CHAPTER 137: EMPTY NEST
Jake stared out the window of his study, the city lights of London twinkling in the distance. He walked back to the desk and picked up his phone.
He dialed Anderson, and he picked up after three rings.
"Sir, Good morning."
"Yes, Anderson, morning."
"I need the Account statement for this first half of the year of business."
"Noted, sir. I will send it as soon as possible", Anderson responded.
"Yeah, thanks." Jake ended the call
It wasn't up to 30 minutes before he heard a sound from his phone
"That was fast," he muttered to himself
He opened his phone and went to his mail
