Darius and I were up in an instant. I couldn’t imagine what Brandon wanted but I was curious to find out. We rushed over to the front door but Darius held out a hand to stop me. “You have to stay inside,” he told me. “It wouldn’t bode well for the plan if you’re outside with me.
