At home, Reuben and Selena took care of Cody at night themselves. Ramona had offered to help, but they couldn't bear to let go of their little one. During the day, the two nannies and household staff pitched in, but at night, it was all on them. They wanted it that way. After bathing their Cody and getting him dressed, Selena cradled him in her arms, gently rocking him to sleep. She had just turned 24 this year—barely a year older than Avery. When she had given birth to Cody, she'd still been practically a kid herself. "Selena, let me take him. Don't strain your back," Reuben said as he walked out of the bathroom. Seeing her still holding the baby, he stepped forward to take over. But she didn't let go. Looking up at him, she smiled. "Uncle Reuben, he smells so good. Let me hold him a little longer." Cody had been an easy baby from the start. Ever since his first month, he'd been sleeping through the night without much fuss. Because of that, Selena and Reuben loved ha
