Avery lifted her head and looked toward the source of the honks. She spotted that familiar-looking car. Seeing the car window being lowered and Mason's face appearing before her, Avery's face broke into a smile as bright as the morning sun. After that, she walked toward Mason. This was the second time he'd surprised her by returning from his work trip earlier than expected. Yet, Avery was once again filled with delight upon reuniting with him sooner than she'd thought.
