"Okay," the children answered in unison. Out of this bunch of children, one of the younger ones was Allegra, Cameron and Emily's daughter. The other children were children of the Martins' relatives. Each of the children was extremely adorable, so much so that Wendy was tempted to sneak one of them back home. She chose some carrot sticks and biscuits for the children from the serving table beside. Then, she gave them out equally to the kids. "Here are some carrot sticks and biscuits. They're really tasty. Even I like to eat them." "Okay." As the kids were still young, they were easier to coax. No matter what Wendy said, they listened to her. The most important thing to them was that they had something to snack on. A few of the older children accepted the carrot sticks, tore open the packaging, and started munching on the carrots. Allegra was too young. She wasn't able to open the packet of carrot sticks she got from Wendy. She felt so frustrated that her face turned red.
