Chapter 1319
Ramona lamented over how the situation was not what she hoped it'd be.
"Hello, Grandma Ramona." After coming home from work that evening, Selena sounded completely worn out when she greeted Ramona.
"What's wrong, Selena? Are you feeling unwell? Or are you on your period? Why do you look so downcast?"
"I'm fine, Grandma Ramona. I'm just a little tired from work. I'll be okay after I get some rest." Upon saying that, Selena headed upstairs, looking deflated.
After getting back to her room, she took a quick shower. Then, she sprawled face-down on her bed and did not move a muscle.
Her eyes welled up with tears.
After quite some time, when one of the household staff members came up to tell her that dinner was ready, she simply said that she didn't have any appetite to eat.
"Mrs. Martin, Ms. Selena said that she isn't hungry, so she doesn't feel like eating."
