CHAPTER SIX
I saw a man come out of nowhere. I didn't know if I should stop or just keep running, but I did the first anyway. Besides, I don't know where I am right now.I ran to where he was standing beside his car and hid behind him, whispering desperately for him to help me.
"P-Please, help me." I tugged at his shirt. I need his help. I ignored every alarming bell and whispered in my mind, what if he is a bad person?
"What's wrong, miss? Do you know them?" He's a good one. My anxious mind calmed on its own.
"No, I don't. I have met them."
I was still hiding behind him, too scared to step away from the only person who might be my saviour or another devil.
"What's going on here?" His question was directed at the four men.
They looked weary of the man. He was, after all, taller and more rippled than them.
"She's our sister." To think the beefy one came up with such a ridiculous lie.My saviour turns to me, and I shake my head at him.
"I swear, I don't know them!"
