Jenny knew that Bethany was upset and hugged her. "It's fine. Since we don't have good parents like those, we can try our best to become one for our child," she said with a hopeful expression.

"Jen, you should sleep," Bethany said with a forced smile. She then got up to wash up. But immediately after, her phone rang—it was Trystan.
"That's weird. Is he worried that I'll forget tomorrow's appointment?"
Bethany picked up the call.
"Come downstairs. I'm here." Trystan sounded anxious.
"What's wrong?"
Bethany had a bad feeling.
"I received a call from the manor. Grandpa is sick."
"I'm coming downstairs now."
Bethany hurriedly changed her clothes, notified Jenny, and then went downstairs. Trystan was there, waiting for her.
